Member Posts: 41 05/15/05 08:50	We recently had a player who was cheating at dice. His cheating revolved around the placing of bets once the dice were in the air. So if you see a player who seems to have an uncanny ability of making late bets that hit be very cautious. This player also tips the dealers very well. The player was a black gentleman probably 30-35 years old, maybe 5 8 and approximately 160lbs. I would like to go in more detail concerning his play but I do desire to provide an instruction manual on cheating to people that may be reading here. I just want other dealers to be aware of what is going on. I have heard that this player has been banned from Turning Stone and Seneca Niagara Casino. He may be heading to your casino soon. Dont let your guard down, he is very good at what he does

He runs with another young black man named Corey Barrentine and an older white man named Harvey Meeks. They are travelers and hit Atlantic City, Mississippi, and recently Louisiana (seen at a boat out there in April). Lots of dealers got a nice vacation from him and some a permanent one. Down side is he tips very well so most idiots do book his bets. He will bet up to table max on the outside numbers when he is zoning. Anyone wanting pics drop me a line and I can email you his and his associates pictures.

Member Posts: 583 05/16/05 03:53	What you described does not sound like cheating to me. Some dude makes late bets which the dealer books...that's basically all you said. If the dice land, the number is seen, the dealers book the bet because they are along for the ride, then they should be fired. If he and the dealers were in collusion beforehand then that sounds like a case of cheating on the part of the player as well.

Eight of us on our crew were suspended, everyone from a dealer that was on the game for twenty min. to the relief floor. Four of which lost there job and can never work for the casino again. Yes, what he was doing was not illegal. Maybe immoral but not illegal. He made bets, and we booked them. He was betting very big, like a 300 place bet on the four or ten, and then when it hit, brought it down. (thats big for Missouri)

I am not sure of all the details but rumors flew around the boat for months. and ina really small town rumors spread like wild fires. I am just glad I didn't deal craps at that time. from what I have heard they were booking hop bets agter the dice landed and whatever the dice landed on what the bet they booked. and I heard the dealers were in on it. but you know what they say dont believe everything you hear
