American Idol... Who Ya Got!?!
Paula-Gate happened last week... but I think this week, the final nail was hammered home into the coffin of Jason Castro.
(Paula had been given notes by producers of the show BEFORE Jason Castro had performed his SECOND song last week. She commented on BOTH songs BEFORE he had even sang them. I guess she was too intoxicated to have noticed. Simon and Randy tried to save her on the spot and the next night Seacrest also tried to minimize the damage of the shows obvious gaff. But since Castro is a handsome young lad, he bested Brooke even though the producers of the show wanted Mr. Castro eliminated. If you don't know what I'm writing about, "youtube" this precious moment!)
I noticed on tonights show, that the microphone on the singers was turned WAY up and that the backing band was turned WAY down. This was done to show just how much of a weaker voice Castro has than the other 3 contestants.
Jason didn't help himself out much by forgetting the words to "Tamborine Man" by Bob Dylan.

I'm going with the 2 David's in the final. I'm leaning towards David Cook besting David Archuletta. Archuletta reminds me of Danny Bonaducci in a weird way. He's actually a 40 year old midget! He's more suited towards the older, easy listening crowd as opposed to the teeny-bopper crowd that the show is marketed towards. He's good, he can hit notes, but he's not very exciting. Cook has the "it" factor.
I think all of the middle aged women that didn't vote for Chris Daughtry are learning from their mistakes and voting for Cook this time around.
