This is the sort of nonsense that should not be tolerated by a good floor person.
Mike can tip what ever he wants. And I would be appreciative of anyone who tips me $1. But he should not be involved in telling other people what to tip. |

What's wrong with $1 a hand? If you deal 40 hands an hour that's $40, which is more money than most people make in that time. There is nothing wrong
with $1. If he won $5k in hand do u really think you deserve $50 or even $25? All you did is deal the cards. I have an interest in being a dealer, and if I
made $1 per hand I would be content with that.

more.

mike the mouth is running those wpt boot camps and as a player when you add up how much you tip throughout the year it really does add up to alot so he's
probably gone over what tipping can add up to over a year span. We all should be very greatful for a dollar everyhand but i understand more is so much nicer
but we shouldn't expect it. DSTARCH what casino?

JaRubin wrote: I agree with that 100%. We all sit down at that table knowing full well that players tip, or don't tip, completely at their pleasure. We're the ones who choose to sit in that box, knowing full well that we can walk out without being toked a single buck. I, for one, am grateful for whatever I am GIVEN, and never hold any bad thoughts when that is nothing, or an amount many might consider too little for the size of the pot. As far as players "educating" other players at the table on how much to tip, I have mixed feelings on that. While, on one hand, I want to make as much as possible dealing the cards, I am also earn part of my living playing the game, and I understand the effects of rake and tips on my earnings. There is an older woman who comes into my room frequently. The other dealers are always glad to see her, because she tips OUTRAGEOUSLY (like, 10.00 on a 25.00 pot, etc.), but I always feel a little guilty when she does, and wish someone would explain what a decent tip is to her. I'll never do it myself, as it is unprofessional for a dealer to attempt to influence a player's decision to tip, one way or another, but I wish she knew I'd be just as nice to her if the tip was a buck. |

He was a dealer at one time....
Could he have said it? Maybe, but I doubt it.... |
