Dealer: "Think of a come bet as the same thing as a pass line bet but with its own point."
Newbie: *light bulb* "Oh, that's easy enough!"
Jackoff: "Yeah, the come bet, see, you put a bet out in the come, minimum five dollars, and then the dice roll, and then something happens to the bet, same as with the pass line but it's different for the 7 and 11..."

You might be a jackoff if you wait until the dice are at the shooter before calling your bets off because the boxperson changed, and then you pitch a bitch fit when a seven-out rolls and you forgot to pick up your odds and call your hardways off "because there wasn't enough time".
