First, it should not take you 5 seconds to run down s stack of red. Your only job is not game pace and making money for you. Customer service is as big as anything else now days.

No you did not save time with this move. If you can not run down a stack of red in a few seconds, then you should go to black jack. It will take the customer just as long to throw you two reds as it should for you to cut out $90. Not to mention, asking for two reds when you just gave him 20, makes you look like you can't deal. The customer more than likely doesn't know you policy. As far as procedure, at my place you did.

First off if you cut out $55 to go from 34 to 30 on the 6 & 8 (unless they have too much white already), you are one of those people who do moves for the sake of doing moves, not to deal at a better pace. Go out with $50 (two green). With your outside hand pick two white from the outside bet, then with the inside hand pick up the rest of that bet and hand it to the box. With the outside hand (the one tht has the two whites) pick up the other bet and size into the two green in the come, and hand off the rest.

Would you have done the same thing with $50 on the hard 8 or 6? would you hand him a stack of green (without running it down) and then ask him to give you two green. If you answer no, why not? You are still saving time, or so you say. If yes, then you should stay where you are and don't come to Vegas to deal.

First of all, I'm familiar with that press on the six and eight going from 24 each to 30 each, as well as a couple of others (i.e. 55 for 27(two variations), 50 for 22, 52 for 24 <--- not a good one) Which one I use depends on what chips the player needs and what bets follow this move as different presses leave me in position to transfer to different colors more smoothly. Anyways, "your" move and "my" move have the exact same number of moves so think before you say something.

Secondly, we are not allowed to take a stack of green from the bank and hand it off without breaking it down EVER! So of course I would not do this. However, We never take a stack of red from the bank and break it down to prove it's all there EVER! Your argument has no logical structure to it. Put down the booze!
