Do you offer the opportunity to bank to the players before or after you close the betting. Where I work we offer the bank after the bets are closed. This
prevents the other players from removing their bets if a player is banking.

The player indicates he is banking. I announce "player banking" and then confirm this new banker's bet with the house. Some players then decide
to sit out the hand, others decrease their bets, very few then raise their bets. If that bet has turned out to be quite significant, the new banker can also
decide to no longer take the bank.
Even if no player is banking bets can and do change, but only up until the randomly generated number comes up just right before the cards come out. |
