If you have ANY chance of getting in at Horseshoe, I say take it.
I should hop on over from my joint, but as of RIGHT NOW, I'm staying put. I've got a decent spot, I like my PTO hours, and most of all... I FEAR CHANGE! I've actually been here longer than I was at Empress/Horseshoe. (Man! Does time fly!)

The ONLY way I could see that property tanking is if Chicago ever gets real casino gambling. Their M.O.A.B. (Mother of all boats) program is extremely impressive.

Resorts/Ameristar/??? - WHOEVER ACTUALLY OWNS THE JOINT won't say that they have a hiring freeze... but let's put it this way... nobody's getting hired.
I can't quite explain it, but for the first time... I think the property is a sinking ship.

If you get an audition at Horseshoe, remember that it is a Harrah's property. Ask your auditioner for a players card and wish them "good luck" on their buy in. I being serious and not sarcastic.

But as always, get your foot in the door. If that means working at Majestic, then so be it. If that means working another job at the casino (other than Table Games), than so be it. Get in, then transfer as soon as possible.

Sometimes we have to take a step back in order to take 2 steps forward.
