My understanding of full time flex, as explained to me by a shift supervisor at the venetian, was you could be scheduled to work only 32 hours per week.
Your scheduled days could change week to week, you could be scheduled 4 days one week, 5 the next. It didnt sound too bad to me, especially since it was full
time status, and I don't have to work absolutely 40 hrs./week.

We were told when we started, that full time flex was a position that was created after 9/11. They told us that it meant that you could be scheduled for 4 days
instead of 5. They could also change your days off if they needed to, but the shift manager told me this rarely ever happens. He also said that you almost
always are scheduled 5 days. Thats what the on call people are for.

I don't mind 4 days at all. If it goes less than that it could get a bit scary. |

The joints I've worked at (which is minimal), we had full time flex schedules and it meant that you didn't have a set start time, but a general idea.
In order to receive benefits, you had to be "classified" full time (even if a part timer is working over 32 hours a week for over 90 days, they still
have to be "classified" full time) but they want to keep the hours a little liquid for business needs. I still got 40 hours but I had to check the
schedule because I could be coming in at different times every day.
