tip campaign | #11 | ||

I like the campaign... I was not intimidated at all and I think it will earn respect from players especially those not in the know of the game and the tipping
procedure.

I don't know. It's good and well, not so good. |

The guy--"Hunter"--I couldn't tell if the words were coming out of his mouth, or his EYES---His "blinking" seemed synchronized to his
mouth. Is it me, or is it me?

Geez, can anyone just comment on the idea of this? It never seizes to amaze me how people get off tract of many issues because they can't help but, put
the person down delivering the message... wow! Just take it for what it's worth......... for crying out loud!

You're right, I apologize, it was not intended to be a cheap shot--just a cheap laugh--Sorry!!
I think it's well packaged, like the music--the logo on the shirt---well presented. The one thing that bothers me is in some ads the Dealer says "The best tip of all, ALWAYS tip your dealer! The lovely Dealer "Josephine" says "REMEMBER to tip your Dealer",which in my opinion is a "softer" sell. |

JerseyDevil, I laughed! And I agree that the production values are good but the admonishment to ALWAYS tip your dealer was too much for me too. Maybe I just
lost my whole bankroll? Or maybe my dealer was rude?
I think the whole thing is ridiculous. I still maintain that anyone who comes to LV knows that this town is all about TIPPING! I think the whole purpose of this campaign is just to make dealers feel good about the union. How about some honesty from the TWU?? IMO, this is just an attempt to manipulate dealers into voting for the union. |

scooby.... i only know one thing after dealing for 10 years now and that is after asking a good majority of players and in fact, they asking me.... a good
majority are unaware that dealers make minimum wage and depend on tips/tokes.... i am in and with the wynn union (twu)... it is not a bad thing to bring any
of this to light. ......

I think I am the minority on this one, but I DON'T think most players know to tip the dealers. There are alot of casual gamblers that come here and
don't know. I think the campaign is a good thing as long as it is done in good taste. It certainly can't hurt to remind players about tipping and if
it educates just a few people - it is definately a good thing.

the number one complaint i get on dealers is how rude the dealer was by hustling me on the game.....i am losing alot of money this weekend and the dealer
called me cheap or implied i would have better karma if i tipped them more than i have been etc.........screw the twu and their begging campaign.....guests
know all about tipping.......its gonna backfire on all the dealers in town. the twu doesnt know anything about guest service or gaming......it only knows that
the more you make the more they get for their services....the wynn dealers got a lawyer......thats all that you needed......now you have a monster on your
hands with the union......nothing but trouble coming on everyone now....... you should have waited for the supreme court rulings first before bringing the
union into town......

I think it's a way for the union to show that they're supporting the dealers that are in their union. It's also a way for them to show the dealers
that are not in a union that they want to represent them and that they're promoting the idea that they'll help the dealers make more money.
I've heard that they're going to actually show which casinos have unionized dealers and really try to promote it. Personally, I don't think it'll make any difference. I also don't think a union is the way to go either but that's just my opinion. |
