Quite as a Mouse!!! |

I am relatively new to the business, and am still impressionable and willing to soak up as much info on dealing as possible. I usually only deal dice when im
at work and i have gotten to see a lot of different dealing styles, and i try to take a little bit of, the best of everyone im on a crew with and put it all in
to one dealer, me. One habit that i am trying to pick up and still deal with speed and precision is the art of the stealthy dealer, the quite but deadly
dealer. I usually go about my day setting up 54 across, 32 inside or 40 outside while not giving much thought to how loud i am being with the cheques. For
those of you more experienced dealers how do you make it look so effortless and not make any sound, i would love some tips on how to turn my cheque volume
down.

You don't have to slam chips down on to the layout to get them where you want them. As for making it look effortless, only time will make dealing this game truly effortless. Once you have been there and done that, and never see anything new, effort is no longer a part of the equation. |

Get the dicedealer practice mat and some chips with a table set up in front of a tv and while you're watching tv at night, practice your press moves and
payouts. While going at your own pace, be quiet and slow as needed. Then start to slowly pick up the pace over the next couple months.

A few other good ones I've heard dealers say...
"one hand on the dice.. just like in the shower" "you roll your own, like in college" When theres a new shooter comming out on the other end "shooting out the other end, crap.... eleven any seven" "New shooter, new direction, big erection, use protection." When someone puts a come bet out on the come out roll .."hey, you got some pre-come there." |
