Has anyone heard anything from Cannery Casinos? They supposedly will be open come August of this year. Their employment web site has been accepting
applications for some time now but have not heard about any actual interviews. Seems odd that a casino opening in 3 months has not started the interview
process unless they have felt I wasn't worth a second look. I had hoped a part time job may be possible, in addition to my full time dealing job.

I sent an e-mail to Cannery Resorts and they called me to advise that interviews by the department managers will commence in late June and early July. Cutting
it kinda close for an August opening.

They already have a ton of the dealers from the Nevada Palace displaced to the cannery until the opening, undoubtedly some have move up or out of the business
and a small deficit will need to be filled in both properties.

The Nevada Palace had about 8 table Games. The new Cannery will have 26 tables. I think they will be needing many dealers to fill the balance.

I hear what your saying, but I think they may already be over staffed already.. I actually have my app in at both places. it may not be like working at
Caesars, but I would be happy with anything at this point.
