Needed a spot for this story...
I had this guy playing straight out on 3rd who kept waiting till the hand off to press his 6/8. After the 5th time i'd had enough.
My boyfriend at the time had been teaching me some "gray" moves... This one was knock the dollar off the bet behind my stack and while bringing the 7
bucks in on the bet, bounce the buck off the GRT right in front of the guy. The goal is for the guy not to see it and when he asks where his dollar is (cuz
they always do) just sweetly say "oh, its right there sir"
So I manage the first part right, but when I shot the buck off the GRT it managed to catch air and almost hit the guy in the face. I was so frustrated all I
could do was laugh... say whoops, that didnt go quite as planned and move on quickly.
Luckily for me... box was having a good day

Had a guy do this once, he kept wanting to color up in the middle of the roll, and they were letting him. So he had like 400 in green and 8 red, and threw in
the eight red and said, I want green, I want green, so the boss said ok. Then before the next roll, tosses in a $100 bill and says "change!" so I
gave him four green, and he tosses two back at me and says "I want some red, geez".
Same guy about ten minutes later colors up everything, and I put the color in the come and said I'd get it to him after the roll and he yells "That's not a bet, i don't want to bet it there!" pretty damn funny. |
