It was an "EZboard" that turned into a Yoko Ono or whatever they call this. I like Vbulliten boards and I made an attempt to go over last year there but all the data wouldn't transfer. 70% did but that is not enough. I agree that this new one that you see now is complicated compared to the one we had last week but once everyone becomes acclimated - it should be fine. The only real alternative we have at this point is to completely start over in Vbulliten and that is out of the question.


I freaked when I seen the "upgrades" a couple of days ago. I didn't like it at all. I do now that I can navigate around and tweak things here and there to make it as close to what we had before. It will take me some time but invariably I'll get a handle on it.


Is it really THAT complicated?

Have you ever looked into SMF, the have a huge support group(board) that can solve virtually every issue. They may be able to tell you whether a full transfer can be made.

Its not really that complicated, but joining up in a "community" for tha sake of being able to post in a forum seemed odd( even the easyboard sign-up process was wacked).

That said, boards can be a lot of work, it sucks that you were used to the other system and they just switched it over on you.
