Sick call |
Lead | |
|
I was dealing poker at an Iowa casino a few years back when one of the crap dealers had been playing and drinking since he got off work. Well, he continues to play and drink right up to 30 minutes before he is to report to work. When he finally realizes what time it is he leaves the poker room, walks right past the pit to a pay phone and calls in sick. Then proceeds to go back to the poker room and play, needless to say he no longer works there.

That reminds me of a guy I worked with at Slots A Fun years ago. He used to run across to the Riviera on his breaks and play. One day he had a hot streak so he called in sick....FROM BREAK! He didnt work there much longer either.

I was half way through a shift, i'd just been in the office talking to the assistant about a PTO or some thing, as I walk out of the office I call in sick for the rest of the shift, she says ok as i'm peeking around the door at her, the floor asks mew what I was doing I told him. He was a little confuse untill he walked in the office and the assistant told him I had called in, the floor looks at me me and says " who him?" as he isd pointing at me sniggering.
