As I am looking to be poker dealer in Vegas I wanted to gather some people's insight as to the better places and games to deal in terms of tipping. Is it better to deal at a grind joint like the Tropicana, a touristy room like the MGM, or one of the top rooms like the Veneitan or Bellagio? Is it better to dealer 1-2 NL or the 3k-6k game in Bobby's room? I have heard that many of top cash game pros such as Farha or Chan do not tip at all. Is this the norm for high stakes pros, or do a couple of bad apples just poison the well? Also, which rooms treat their dealers well? Also, which rooms pool tips?
