Have another blackjack question for our school's t fundraising game. I'm always trying to squeeze as much juice out the games as I can and, was
thinking of adding a side game to the blackjack, specifically: "Lucky 7's". I think that this is a game our volunteer dealers can handle but
don't know how players will take to it. I would definately back off the payouts with say, a third card ,777 suited, paying like 500 to 1 as opposed to
5,000 to 1.
It been my experienece at our games that the players are absolute addicts to novelty bets. On craps, most play all day long on the prop bets-- even though we have reduced the payouts by 30% to 50%. Still, the money goes in and they're having the time of their lives when it hits. Was thinking that Super 7's might be a way to move the needle on blackjack however, somebody told me that BJ players pretty much ignore this because, even if straight up payouts, they don't like the fact that they can lose right away if aseven is'nt the first card out.
Any thoughts, comments or suggestions? Remember, in our game, the house takes ties, except on BJ.
Thanks.
