I havent heard much on the subject of working in a card room.Id like an opinion or 2 if you would.I work in the northwest in the biggest casino on our side if
the state (indian). We pool and its dismal ,$8.00 hr.On the other side of town is a hooters with a card room and from all Ive heard ,often first hand they can
routinely bring in $200 plus a night. Its tft but still deal to regulars. Is there a mind set to how or why people tip differently? And whats it like dealing in
a smaller place.I would be losing benefits ,paid holidays and the edr but for that kind of a raise!Any one else have knowledge of card rooms being so
lucrative?

I'm sorry but i really find it hard to believe you are only getting a $8 an hour toke rate. Your floor must be taking skim off the top or you just have a
bunch of lame ass dealers. Is it just the poker dealers that share in the tokes or are the poker dealers and pit dealers combining tips and then share. If i
were you I would look for another place to deal. A good poker dealer should have no problems in making $200 plus per night in a decent room.
