I've talked to some people at the Wynn who said there will be no sharing of tips with "team leaders" at the Encore. If that were true doesn't that mean there has been a change of heart on the matter. Or is it too soon too tell????

I have also heard alot of rumors about the Encore. I will post some of the rumors and if someone from Wynn can please tell us what is going on that will help
to dispel the rumors. Thank You.
1. Floor people at the Encore will be getting paid $150.00 per shift plus a full share of tokes. 2. Dealers hired at the Encore will have to sign an agreement to pool tips with the floor people (Team Leads). 3. Wynn dealers cannot transfer to the Encore with the exception of some p/t dealers. 4. Wynn will move all the whales to the Encore so the Wynn dealers tokes will go down drastically. It seems Wynn dealers will not be able to transfer as retaliation for joing the union. Also if the new hires sign an agreement to pool tokes with the floor before they are hired that will eliminate the dealers trying to unionize that property as they agreed as a term of employment. Then they can't go to the labor board and say there are being forced to share tips meant for them.

I've heard that floor will get $315 per day with NO tokes but maybe that would change depending on the court case. On the other hand why would Wynn not cut
floor in on the tokes especially when he can let everybody know his policy from the beginning? I think he should have the same policy as the WYNN because if he
backs down now then he is admitting that he was wrong. Either way he will have no trouble getting qualified staff. They just won't be coming from Caesars
or Bellagio, etc. but would those people go there now anyway???

An Idea | ||

Pay the floor $300 a day with no tokes, make the dealers sub-contractors and pay them nothingExcept their tokes. Just a thought.

Joke | ||

It was ment to be a joke at everyone claming to know what is going to happen. It is no farther fetch than $315 a day and no tokes for floor. Why in the hell
would Steve Wynn pay $315 a day, when the closest to that is Over $60 a day lower. Everyone should lighten up.

The "outsourcing" of Dealers jobs will result in NO BENEFITS having to be paid to outsourced Dealers. No insurance, no retirement, no workman's comp, no vacations!Do these two statements seem like they were written by the same person? The first was written by Rumplestiltskin on the twu bulletin board. I remember that he/she outed themselves as havenofear on this board. The second was written by cardmechanic on this thread. I believe that havenofear is still posting on here as cardmechanic even though he/she was banned. Horn hi, cardmechanic is apparently incapable of lightening up. Of course no one knows what will happen at Encore. But since we're speculating, how about floor getting $500 a day and dealers going tft?? Might make working for Wynn a little more appealing...

I do not think I could sell my sole to the devil.I do not work at CP,or the BELL,and sure it would be nice to make the extra money but this prick has put his
floor and dealers through hell and for what?so he can be the inovator of toke distribution.I could apply I should apply but what he is doing to the proffesion
I have chosen make's me want to throw up.
A very very long time ago I respected this man as did many, now I find him to be a joke. I suppose it is a matter of principle for me.also I would end up getting fired because when his blind ass walked past my game I would surely flip the bastard off. Oh and btw,who frekken care's if rumplstiltskin,havenofear,and cardmechanic are all one in the same.this banning crap and targeting some and not others is one of the reasons this site has lost so many members so freaken lighten up already.As long as posters are not using real names on here I really do not see what the problem is.This forum was a great way for dealer's and floor to comunicate but over the past year with all the union bashing that went on ,real names that were used,repeated post's of the same damn thing everyday and you know who you are,people have just lost interest.I keep checking back to see if things have gotten better but I must say it is pretty dead around here. |

Only true | ||

The only true thing is that F/T wynn dealers are not allowed to transfer over. The reason is that we are in contract negotiations and claim it is against the law for any change in work status while a contract is being made. I can't even go over as a busboy. I would love to find out if this is really a law or if some Wynns people just claim it is. |
