I ran into a old dealing buddy yesterday and we went out to lunch and played a round of golf. All types of subjects cam up including this site! It turns out that he reads these forums all the time. He refers to all this as a soap opera. 
Me too I exclaimed. He even knows all the cast of characters. gmoney and his "anti-solicism" rants, "the fella who fights with gmoney" "the girl who is pissed off about all the asian dealers", "the x-mod crybaby from wynn who cant afford his expensive house" "super bitch, her fake tits and her tree and orchard something or another, all the drama about people posting real names in hateful accusations, and NSB (the only guy that makes any sence on there) who he thinks is Scott, the site admin.
He asked if I post on here. I told him yes but not often. He even knew my handle.
I asked if he ever posted and he said no. "We have a policy in our handbook that says we cannot discuss job related issues on the internet"
"It wouldn't be worth the risk he said. I work in such a small place that it would be obvious who wrote it."
I disputed his claim. He said it is true.
Can an employer do this?
