I have an audition lined up for a dealer job, and want to make sure it's worth the 1050 mile drive.

Ive heard that poker dealers down there are doing really well,
but do you think it will be $200.00+ a day in tokes? ( for an experienced poker dealer)

Orange Park (jacksonville area) is currently opening a second poker room. Should be open around end of March. Ocala (northern florida) is also opening a poker room around mid march - I know both of those rooms have or are in the process of hiring thier opening staff.

As far as table games or land based it is still all up in the air due to the lawsuit that mention in earlier post. the gov. signed compact with the seminoles to allow "vegas style games and slots" but i think he's being sued by some dog track owners who want the same opportunity.

other than that, i dont know.
