This is the most hyped primary of our lifetime and yet NO ONE here has an opinion. Tisk, tisk, tisk.

My Gawd! Do I miss "hopfrogat" and "N.S.B's" & the cast of thousands that had opinions on the American political process the last
time around.

I remember saying that the 2 party system was defunct... I can't believe how spot on I was! (I'll try not to pull a muscle while I pat myself on the
back.) Could that be a reason for the apparent apathy on this...

So I've stated that barring some sort of major setback, I'll be voting for Obama and holding my nose while I do it.

But then I'm voting straight Republican or Independant for the rest of the candidates on the ballot.

That way, nothing gets done in a major way so nothing can get too overly screwed up. (Like when we had a Republican Congress and Senate with Newt Gingrich and
a Democrat president in Bill Clinton.) Remember when we actually had a "shut...

Hey Fletch,

I was raised in Lake County, IN - WHAT A JOKE! I was watching CNN when all this crap was taking place - when Wolff Blitzer kept asking Rudy Clay why the votes
weren't "trickling in" like other states and all he could say was it was due to the record number of "early" (absentee) ballots. Even
Tom McDermott - the mayor of Hammond Indiana alluded to the fact that their was something fishy going on. McDermott kept saying that all they had to do...

What went on during the primary here in Indiana was some old school politics rigging that Richard Daley Sr. would have been proud of!

The reason Lake County wouldn't turn in ANY results until the rest of the state was counted, was so that Mayor Rudy Clay (outspoken Obama supporter) would
then know an exact number that Obama was down by and then "fix" the final outcome by turing in bogus absentee ballots in favor of Obama over Clinton.

Why didn't he turn...

He's the smart guy. Hillary's smart, but conniving. Plus she's got Bill tagging along, and all his drama.

Obama's a bit of a nerd, but I'm OK with that. The last two elections we kept asking dumb questions like "Who would you want to invite to your
backyard barbecue?" and "Which one would you trust to walk your dog?" We started to get back to that when they made a big deal about Hillary
doing shots in Pennsylvania.
