Well readers I&#39;m a bit of an amateur armchair economist and I think we are in for some tough times. I know you think things are tough now but six months
down the road may be a lot worse. Our economy is slowing yet we have rising gas prices and food prices....................oh yeah that&#39;s cause China and
India started eating three squares a day.......it isn&#39;t that the dollar has lost value against other
currencies...gold...oil...wheat...etc.....................NO!!.

I should have realized that we would have peak oil on here. For some reason i don&#39;t take much interest in it. Hell it may be true but as the price of
petrol increases then people WILL be forced to find other alternatives and/or live in towns where they can walk to markets and schools and work,etc. That will
be a good thing for us all but that suburban tract home buyer may be on the endangered species list.  Oh well. If you guys are interested in this then read

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>I think Badges has got it right on this one. I&#39;ve been thinking Peak Oil for some time now, and this is the year that everyone is planting a garden,
carpooling, wearing old clothes and remembering how to cook.  But I live in the northern woods and most people here are only a generation or two away from
ancestors who have had to do for themselves before. This particular slump will pass, but there are more on the horizon, and they look to be worse.

regenerates. Rather interesting. It states that we are doing nothing but speeding up the process of self regeneration. That the Earth was designed to have
increasing temperatures and ice ages. Sometimes when you see the marvel of the Earth, it really does give you pause for thought as to whether their really is
