        <![CDATA[ I work at a casino in the Midwest.  The other night a player on my end is playing the don&#39;ts, lays $20 on a point of 5.  I know it&#39;s improper, and
maybe I should have noticed, but I didn&#39;t.  No big deal.  7 out.  $13.33, I pay him $13.  Base on the other end says it only pays $12, she says $18 gets
$12 and $2 left over gets nothing because it&#39;s improper.  I have no clue where she gets that logic from, I just pay it $13, box wasn&#39;t exactly sure.

of speeding the game along.  it is contrary to that motive to suggest laying e.g.$24 behind the 9.  first this is a bet that is frequently paid incorrectly and
second it takes longer to pay.  it is always better when offering a bet to first suggest one color bets.  however on a $5 game or smaller i would offer the

set it up. Don&#39;t be lazy. And never shaft the guy on a pass line winner with an improper amount out there. ]]></description>

100 six bet, 6 rolls...........  according to your logic you would pay it 112 (96 is the closest unit) and the extra 4 dollars gets nothing.  hmmmm now that
isn&#39;t going to fly is it....  and 2 dollars does win something... it pays 1.3333333333333 so u round it down to a dollar.

player gave the dealer, that is either $18 or $21.  Since the dealer was given the money by the player this was not a case of 16 dollar checks being stacked,
it was a case of educating the player to make the correct bet, both in the interest of helping him and of speeding up the game for everyone.  You might always
remember that a crap game... ]]></description>

and the player loses the breakage, however the player got paid something for each and every dollar bet, i.e. most of his dollars got paid $6.75 while the last
2 only received $6.50, the total payoff being $202.  The difference between that and laying improper odds is that in some cases e.g. laying $3.00 behind the 10

it 5 dollars. I had other dealers arguing that we could only take 3 dollars. I asked our casino manager if we should be paid 5 dollars. Thank goodness he is
another old Vegas person so 5 was right. Ignore these people who have not ever dealt anything but a 5 dollar game. Unless someone other than a supervisor tells
