risk gaming which means players can, and often do, win cash (and not silly prizes at the end of the night). It's all licensed and on the up and up however,
there are some rules in each game that tilt the games in the house favor. In blackjack, one of those rules is that the house takes all ties (except a

Before I became a dealer last year I went to a fundraiser festival with a gambling tent. The volunteers were firefighters. Same set up as far as taking all
ties and what not. For the shuffling, all they did was take the shoe cards and give about 2 decks to the other players at the table other than the one with the
cut card. They do the shuffling. then the "dealer" would then have the cards taken back at random (say 3 people were shuffling) like 1/2 from each
pile. shuffle and...

Currently, we provide our dealers at the tables with a 6-deck stack of pre-shuffled cards wrapped with rubber bands and put into one of those zip-lock
freezer bags. When a table goes through a shoe, the dealers simply graps a new freezer bag containing th (shuffled) 6-deck stack, has a player cut the stack,
and then puts the cards in the shoe. This process takes about 5-minues start to finish.
I then take the used stack and bring them back to a table where we have 2 heavy-duty...

I'm not superstitious, but i am suspicious and I would never feel comfortable playing in that environment if the deck wasn't being shuffled at the
table in front of me.

If your tables are big enough though maybe you could have a second shoe at the table with a volunteer shuffling it at the table during the play of the other
hands, so the dealer deals from the red shoe, another volunteer is at the table shuffling the blue shoe. (I know this takes some table space so it may...

Using fewer decks cuts down your house edge, but if you're not worried about that that would be one solution. On the other hand-are your tables set up in
a 'pit' arrangement? What about setting up a table in the middle where the volunteers can shuffle the decks in the sight of everyone? They
wouldn't be specifically in the sight of the table that would receive them but anyone can watch and make sure the shoes aren't stacked. As for the
cut, a shoe's worth of cards...
