A non-profit school where I am a volunteer has frequent "Vegas Nights" throughout the year to raise money. The events are well attended and we make
good money for the school. In fact we own our own 14' table and might purchase another because so many people want to play.

Being a charitable game, we are not obligated to have standard rules and/or normal payouts to pretty...

Thanks for the input. After thinking about this for a while, I am beginning to think the reason the "don't come" box on our table is taped off is
because the dealers were getting bamboozled by the players. Remember, we're all just amateur volunteers with no professional training.

Anyway, my take is the dealers would move the "don't come" bet up to the number and then, when the number apeared, the players screamed that it
was a "come bet" and...

Yes. You should allow Don't Pass and Don't Come bets in your game. The more money you have on the layout, the better it is for the table in the long
run. I would not, however, allow players to bet the Pass/DP or the Come/DC at the same time, reducing the house edge to zero after the come-out. Raise your
mins and your max's too. If any of these suggestions kill you on a hot roll, stay the course....

Yes, it's a 100% legal game and we're in it to make money. Players can win and some do BIG time. The only thing you win (or lose) is cash. We dont care
how much a player wins so long as the table and the house makes money at the end of the night

In the past, we make about 1 grand a night on our craps table. All voluteer dealers. LOT's of work on a non-stop 8 hour shift. Before I took over, the old
timers that ran the table for years and...

There is a charitable game that Caesars Ent. used to put on with Fed-Ex in Memphis. It is like Riva1 said, you buy chips and the winner at the end of the
night got a prize. They would ask for dealers to work the event (we would get paid a flat rate no tips from the tip pool), but we would not have to work 8
hours, only about 4. And they would give you a new pair of shoes and a polo shirt (Nike shoes and shirt the last time I did it, over 4 years ago). The
dealers did not care because it...
