Blackjack is just a given. You need 2 more games on top of BJ. Craps used to be the game to have, but now it's pai gow tiles. Even though most places only
have 1 or 2 tiles tables, it really helps because most people don't have the game. As far as myself being stuck dealing the same game day in and day out,
no worries. I have every game but tiles. I don't get bored.

So then your all but stuck dealing the same games day in and day out. What about moonlighting to improve on a new game? Also ,I hear reference time and time
again of needing 3 games to get hired, may sound silly ,but do they count blackjack as a major game or is it just a given and they want 3 more?Craps ,roulette
,baccarat or tiles?

At my property, we will allow a dealer to audition on a game that they never dealt before if they feel they are ready. We are very strict on this audition
though, and require perfect procedure and good game speed. If they pass, we will add this game to their files, otherwise they can't re-audition on it for
several months. We don't teach new games, or allow them to practice on the live floor (except for a few simple carnival games). Off the top of my mind,
we've never let...

I work at a large on strip property. We were told that if we ever learned another game, we would never be able to deal it here. Only the games we were coded
for when we got hired, would we be able to deal. That's why they wanted 3 major games. Some people got fired because they lied about having the experience
on certain games so they could get the job. I would probably have to take another job to deal the game if I learned a new one, just for the experience.
