Hey Fletch, I understand....IT IS frustrating when upper management will not deal with these spoiled brats. Whats worse is our floor supervisors are AFRAID to confront these assholes, because they will run and cry to upper management.... then the floor supervisor is fired for doing THEIR JOB!!

I don't have a problem with players talking bad about me or to me, but I never put up with it when they act that way to a co-worker or another player. I have been fired for telling a player where he could go. I can walk away from the table, but the dealer is stuck there. Just my two cents.

If one were to take a Chris Farley joke and transcribe it to this medium... it wouldn't "read" very funny at all.

There are all types of physical gyrations that would be lost, all types of vocal inflexions, facial distortions, etc... that would become lost in the process of transcribing his original action.

I think the word, "syntax" is what I'm looking for. A lot of "syntax" becomes lost when SPOKEN word becomes the WRITTEN word....

Well better to vent here I guess. We had an incident some years back where a customer broke a glass, blood, a mess. The suits didn't handle it well and policy from that day forward has changed. Now the management will not allow a guest to act abusive. Not worth a lawsuit. And you sir need anger management counseling.

I KNEW that I should've deleted the thread... it's pretty embassassing. Can I get a "Mulligan"? So first and foremost, I'd like to apologize to you fine folks that actually read my stupid, overreacting, ludacris diatribe.

It was not nearly as bad as how it came accross in written form.

Here's how I REALLY feel about what went down:

I'm ashamed of not clearly thinking at the time.

I had a player like that in HL and I simply went to shift and he got me out of there. I told him I was pissed and if they don't want to do anything about the guy I was going to lose it.

Our shift won't take shit from anyone.

I would start a log. Any company that does nothing to protect the employees, yet demands you endure abusive behavior from players and or fellow employees, is called a 'hostile work environment.' This is a legal term and it is against the law. Coax a few dealers to document their occurences as well. Contact a lawyer for legal action. Register a complaint with the labor department.
This is a sore spot for me as well. No job is worth the anxiety of dealing with an abusive player.
