Does anybody else feel this way??

here is why i feel this way......

The first warm weather in the mid-west hits, people get spring fever... And everyone starts playing golf.

it would be just fine if it stopped there, but NO!

after a day of drinking and smoking cheap smelly cigars, one member of the golf group will always suggest "lets go to the casino"

next thing you know, I've got 3-6 Douche-Bags from the chicago area...

Sorry, kind of ranting here. This base dealer is absolutely terrible too, so I don't know why he's trying to take on the task of watching the other end. I'm on stick, coming out, I've got like 3 horn hi yos and a bunch of other prop action. Seven, winner. 2 of the horn hi yos return. This base then is hanging near the middle holding a nickel in his hand. Goes like this:

Buying the point on the line

Ok, had an argument with an old friend of mine. A guy on a $5 table places the point on the line for $5, a few numbers roll, says he want to buy the point on the line for $100, so I told him you put a buy button on it, put it in between the two lines. He says you leave it on the line and put the buy button on it. Who do you think is right?

I work at a casino in the Midwest. The other night a player on my end is playing the don'ts, lays $20 on a point of 5. I know it's improper, and maybe I should have noticed, but I didn't. No big deal. 7 out. $13.33, I pay him $13. Base on the other end says it only pays $12, she says $18 gets $12 and $2 left over gets nothing because it's improper. I'm not a professional dealer by any means but, I do have a few questions for some experts. Thanks.

A non-profit school where I am a volunteer has frequent "Vegas Nights" throughout the year to raise money. The events are well attended and we make good money for the school. In fact we own our own 14' table and might purchase another because so many people want to play.

Being a charitable game, we are not obligated to have standard rules and/or normal...

Some of my coworkers hassle me that I should be handing off more come bets. They hand off a good 50% of their come bets. They'll even hand off field bets if the guy is betting a dollar for them. If a guy is putting us up for a dollar or two, I don't really see that as reason to hand off come bets, but they're all over me for it. Where I deal at, we have been using the same dice on a game for up to 24 hours.
And many of our tables have been getting crushed, nearly every day. Losing more money than im used to seeing a dice game lose.

I was wondering if using the same dice all day can possibly account for this? or is it just a short term variance that should be expected??

After ten years i've heard some pretty good ones. My favorite for this one.

A guy had been firing the dice right into the glass, after being told not to.

He fires another roll right into the glass and it lands on the Ace-Duece.

The dealer calls. Off the glass for 3!

If the point is 8 and the player wants $132 across, what do you do?

Anyone know the answer to this? I couldn't figure it out.

I answered that he would need to clarify his bet.

Quarter Game Payouts

Does anyone know where I can find a site or get the information needed to calculate a quarter game payout? I did a search on here but I didn't have any luck. For instance I've always known that a $3 place bet on the 6 and 8 pays $3. However I was told by someone that on a quarter game it pays $3.50. Where can I find this information?

Is there a website that has the keys for the prop bets. I have to brush up and dont remember any of them. I prefer to use the long way, but I cant do it that way all the time.
