What are the tokes like in casino X?

Does anyone know of a web site that tracks what tokes are at various casinos? If you're looking for a new place this is obviously one of questions that's at the top of your list.

Yet another state has jumped on board with gaming. Ohio has joined it's neighbors to the north, east, and west by approving 4 land based casinos. The casinos will be based in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, and Toledo. They are expecting the casinos to begin opening in 2012, and will be able to offer any games offered in neighboring states.

Ah, the joys of working in a tribal casino.

I work in a small casino. By small, I mean we only have 37 dealers. Total. Great for tokes, since we pool our tips. Unfortunately, our department has the most employees, and when other departments are short handed, they assign a dealer to that area. Clearly Vegas casinos whom serve free drinks to players have a huge advantage over many casinos that by law can only offer alcohol whereas the patron must pay.

Let's take California for example. Players must pay for drinks. Don't you think that the State would benefit more in the long term if they allowed Las Vegas rules when it comes to drinking in casinos? I don't get it?

I work at a undisclosed location, we have a boxWoman that relies on us, the crew, to make sure that the craps area is maintained, the shift has never dealt, and it is obvious in the dual, and regular floor positions. my boxwoman every night just sits there falling asleep and bored, she always wants to crittique us and jump on us when she thinks she can. The other night, the crew made a pact for the following night, we decided that none of us, not a single soul, knew what any prop bet paid....

There's a dual rate where I work that is the worst floor ever as far as dealing with dealers. This woman is incapable of telling you anything positive. And god help you if you're on a game with moderately big money that she's watching. She will criticize any little thing she can think of -- while you're dealing!

I just feel like telling her to shut the hell up. If there are consistent complaints about procedure, tell me about it. If my game is running smoothly and...

The real world caught up with the Hard Rock-Vegas. Two assistant shift managers got axed, three or four entertainer dealers from the Hells Belles pit got released and available shifts for the rest of the Hells Belles dealers reduced. Floor help was asked to take an extra day off every pay period and they may also be hit with an additional day off on a rotating basis. Evidently the opening of the new hotel tower did not bring in the business they had hoped for and revenue for the Rehab pool...

What's your definition of a good dealer?

In my opinion, the most important thing is the ability to make tokes. Someone can be the most mechanically proficient dealer there is but if they can't make money they are a lump.

Most of you "generation x era dealers" couldn't deal your way out of a brown paper bag. You walk around cocky and act like you know everything, but when the time comes to deal a heavy game you are lost. You look at the experienced dealer or floor person for help. Later you don't even have the class to thank the experienced person for bailing your ass out of a jam. I'm the one who calls your !%**. You are nothing more than a punk.

Here is a brief synopsis of my situation. I am in my late 30s and currently work for a Harrahs property on the strip.
